In bloodless bullfighting, the matador tries to place Velcro-tipped sticks on pads on the bull’s backs. Watching this video, I was mesmerized by the beauty and skill of horse and rider but still felt conflicted. Can bullfighting ever truly escape the shadow of its gruesome past? (more…)
