Video: Horse Plays Pick-Up Sticks

This horse doesn’t need a jolly ball or turnout buddy to amuse himself, thanks very much.

Reader Mariana Paladini sent us her video of a horse at her barn coming up with some very impressive and creative ways to entertain himself while turned out in the arena:

According to Mariana, “Vigo” does this pretty often when he’s turned out in the arena, and this time she was able to grab evidence on film. We’re impressed with his jaw and neck strength to be able to canter (and change leads!) with a rail in his teeth!

Next, Vigo needs to learn how to move standards and set his own heights. Then he’ll be in business.
