KC – Hampton, New Brunswick, Canada
“Former Jumper/Event horse. Recovering from injury in 2013. To be back to work in January, suspect potential for low-level jumping/dressage. Full medical reports available. Not a child’s horse. Pictures available by request.”
JD – Midland, Virginia
“JD is great with kids, western trained. Great prospect for trail riding. Moving from our property. Need to find a GOOD and Caring home. Serious inquires please.”
Charlotte – Richmond, Virginia
“Charlotte is a been- there/ done- that sweet chestnut mare with small white blanket on rear who was a super school horse for beginners through intermediate for many years. She took care of beginners, but also loved going to local hunter shows in the over fence classes. She is large pony size. Sadly she developed ring bone in the front about 2 years ago, and although she did well with special shoeing at first, her ringbone progressed. She is sound at the walk for a petite adult, and could be ridden at the walk on soft ground/trails etc. She would be great as a lead line type pony for children to learn both ground work as well as leadline saddle work. She would also do well as an “auntie” horse for weanings and yearlings who need a safe companion. Charlotte does very well in the herd, and stays out of trouble. She is a VERY easy keeper, and really needs no grain for most of the year. She has been an outside horse most of the time, but has no issue with being in the stall as well. Easy to trailer, easy for shots, vaccinations. Uncomplicated. If you live within 2 to 3 hours of Richmond Virginia, and are interested, reply to this ad and I will be happy to contact you.”
Filigree – Gaylord, Minnesota
“17 year old maiden mare looking for a home. Sired by Franat, out of excellent Holsteiner bloodlines for dressage and jumping. Should produce a wonderful eventer or dressage type Holsteiner. Wanted to breed her last fall, however due to travel do not have the time to invest in breeding a foal and already own a two year old. Any offers considered for this lovely mare who has received excellent care and has been my dressage mount, due to arthritis in her coffins she is unsound for consistent use under saddle. Serious calls only please and thanks for looking.”
Ruby – Blythewood, South Carolina
“She stands for the farrier and loves to be groomed. Negative coggins, currently dewormed for August, and feet were done three weeks ago. She is an easy keeper and could live off of grass/hay and a small amount of feed. It does not take much to put weight on her. She will be your best friend if you have a treat in your pocket. She is the dominate horse in the pasture. I am going back to college soon, but if you are interested in her, I can come back to officially meet you. Call me if you would like to know more about her.”
Iridium – Orono, Minnesota
“Iridium is a wonderful companion horse and easy to handle. No health issues. Very classic Arabian movement. Loves to run in the pasture and show off. We are selling our hobby farm and need to find good homes for our horses.”
