OneRepublic’s ‘Love Runs Out’ Music Video Has Dressage Horses In It
They are piaffing to the beat, yeah-yeah.
Not to be confused with One Direction, a pop band from the UK, OneRepublic is an American pop band best known for catchy earworms like “Counting Stars,” “Secrets,” “Good Life” and countless other songs you somehow know by heart even though you don’t particularly even like them.
Their song of the summer was “Love Runs Out” — you have probably heard it about 600 times by now. Reader Katherine McDonough sent us the link to the music video, which among many, many other random things (ninjas, volcano people, etc.) includes scattered footage of dressage horses. The video allegedly cost $180,000 to produce and was shot against a green screen, with the clouds and lightning and stuff digitally added later.
Here’s the video…
…or, if you don’t feel like sitting through a whole bunch of randomness to get to the horsey bits:
Go Riding.
