'Oh Crap' Moment of the Day: Winter fresh
Northern Ireland horsegal Ally endures not one, but two involuntary dismounts from her athletic young horse when he expresses his enthusiasm after a month's break from jumping.
She writes, “Falling off Alfie twice today… I haven't jumped a horse in over a month and that obviously shows, haha! He has discovered how to use his hinds recently and today he was throwing me about like a rag doll! I managed to land on my feet the first time, but failed the second. He went super today, these little mishaps just made it more amusing.”
Thank you, Ally, for inspiring us as always with your horsemanship and limitless sense of humor! I think your horse can jump a little–we can't wait to see what the year has in store for you both!
