…nobody does the red carpet like Gaga. True to form she showed up to the American Music Awards yesterday perched atop a white horse (a.k.a. two men in a horse suit), dressed in a lavender Versace gown. The outfit’s inspiration?

“So much of (her latest album) ARTPOP is an infusion of disco,” she told an E! reporter. “It’s very Bianca Jagger arriving at Studio 54 on her white horse.”

M’kay, it all makes sense now.
