In the News: ‘Man reunited with horse lost in Black Forest Fire’
Can you watch a a 240 pound, 6-foot tall cowboy weep with happiness without getting teary-eyed yourself? Not I.
The fire, which began on June 11 near Colorado Springs and has since consumed 14,198 acres, nearly 500 homes and two lives, separated many evacuees and their animals. This story, at least, has a happy ending.

As of this morning the blaze was 65 percent contained and authorities are confident that all casualties have been recorded. Crews hope to have the fire fully under control by Thursday. A Facebook page has been set up to help owners reconnect with their animals here.
