With the NYPD Mounted Unit…

Digital Content Creator Gabriel DeSanti produces a variety of videos. One of his recent shares caught our eye — he spoke with a sergeant of the NYPD Mounted Unit, asking to spend a day with him on the job. DeSanti clearly isn’t a horse person, but he jumped right in, not hesitating to help groom Morgan, the sergeant’s horse, or pick up manure.

He also asked some great questions about what a typical day looks like as part of the NYPD Mounted Unit. Our favorite quote from the reel?

“I may not be a world-renowned hunter/jumper or olympian, but I can ride a horse in Time’s Square.”
