‘Oh Crap’ Monday: Showboating Gone Wrong
Monday already is the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “oh crap” moment.
In the world of mounted shooting — and in a variety of disciplines — one of the most exciting parts of an event is the showcase. That’s when the competitors who have performed well enough in the qualifying rounds come back to compete in a stand-alone stage and the winner takes all. Participating in a showcase is pretty thrilling on its own, but winning one is especially exhilarating. And once a competitor has one, he or she gets to take a victory lap around the pen.
This shooter was so thrilled by his win and upcoming victory lap that he decided to do a little showboating in the form of a spin. Unfortunately for him, his mind wasn’t quite in the middle while his butt spun round and round, which resulted in a bit of an “oh crap” moment. Watch until the end — it’s worth it.
