Update on Magic Max: Irish Sport Horse

Last year, we introduced you to Magic Max, an Irish Sport Horse with confidence issues. Here’s an update — and he’s blossoming!

I met Max (Maxwelton) in County Down, Northern Ireland in January 2023 (see Helping Max Be Magnificent). He was green. He was revved up. He had to be hand-walked to face — everything. I was thrilled with the snaps and videos I received from his delighted owner, June Burgess of Ballygraffan Stables. Max has blossomed. He looks to be a dream. Proof that the patience and unwavering support of trainer Victoria Teuton has paid off with this glorious boy.

Jumps, water hazards, ocean swimming, Max wears each challenge with style and grace. He’s become a confident, happy boy that thrives in his bright future. Way to go Max, Victoria and June. Max performed in his first young horse arena jump competition last weekend. He was brilliant.
