The Idea of Order: Never Satisfied
It’s rarely ever as we would hope.

Last week is was still winter here in Northern Nevada. This week? Hell on Earth — er, summer. It is summer. While we all know how much I truly loathe Winter and its evil comrade, Snow, I can’t say I totally love Summer’s friends, Heat Stroke and Drenched-in-Sweat. Can we get someone to regulate the thermostat around here? Maybe a nice balmy 74 degrees with a breeze and sunshine perhaps?
Go Riding!
Morgane Schmidt is a 36-year-old teacher/artist/dressage trainer/show announcer/ who still hasn’t quite decided what she wants to be when she grows up. A native Floridian, she now lives in Reno, NV, where she’s been able to confirm her suspicion that snow is utterly worthless. Though she has run the gamut of equestrian disciplines, her favorite is dressage. She was recently able to complete her USDF bronze and silver medals and is currently working on her gold. Generally speaking her life is largely ruled by Woody, a 14.2 hand beastly quarter horse, Willie, a now beastly 10-year-old Dutch gelding, and Milona DG, a 3 year old KWPN chestnut mare (you can make your own inferences there…).
