Performance of the Week: Franco Bertolani

Franco Bertolani and Hollys Hijacker clinched the Level 4 Open Futurity at the All American Quarter Horse Congress.

The 2019 All American Quarter Horse Congress is well under way. Therefore, it should be no surprise that this week’s Performance of the Week comes out of Ohio.

The Congress NRHA Level 3 and 4 Open Reining Futurity finals filled the Celeste Center on the evening of Saturday, October 5th. Spectators gathered to watch some of the most promising three-year-olds in the country compete for large purses and prizes. With $192,332 in purses and $64,500 in added money from the Friends of Congress Reining, much was on the line. 

The Congress Champion in the Level 4 Open Futurity was Franco Bertolani, riding Hollys Hijacker, owned by Quarter Dream SRL. The 226.5 run earned the pair an impressive $28,471.70.
