These ponies know how to stay cool in the warm summer months. 

One of the best things about the weekends during summer has to be spending time relaxing on the beach and cooling off in the salty spray. These ponies agree.

The ponies at Assateague State Park escaped the late July heat by seeking refuge in the waves. Or perhaps they were just looking to catch a wave. Either way, seeing these horses enjoying the beach makes us want to yell, “Thank goodness it’s Friday,” and head to the shore.
