Tuesday Video: One Athletic Donkey

I’m still not sure if I should laugh or be very afraid.

Let’s imagine, just for a moment, that equines had the power to walk around on their hind legs. Admittedly, some already do have this strength and like to terrorize their pasturemates or hapless riders with the occasional rear or two, and there ARE those talented, well-trained Lipizzaners doing all those airs above the ground reminiscent of the actual ability to take a stroll.

And then there’s this donkey. The amount of core/hind end strength necessary to make a quadruped walk around like a biped is truly fearsome to behold:

Today, playing with a jolly ball. Tomorrow, walking up to the counter at Starbucks and ordering himself a latte. Look out, world — this guy is evolving.
