Lighthoof Tuesday Video: Singalong

We’d love to know what the donkey was thinking.

Animals, while not strictly “musical,” have demonstrated some fascinating abilities that demonstrate that they have their own unique appreciation for music and sound. Horses are sometimes soothed by a quietly-playing radio (or perhaps encouraged to perform at their best thanks to listening to live opera); my dog likes to “sing” along in the car in her own unique and obnoxious way (I’ve confirmed with the vet that she is in fact attempting to sing rather than complaining that her ears hurt).

As for this donkey… we’re not sure if he’s “singing” or attempting to communicate with the accordion so skillfully played by this individual.
