The quiet presence of these big horses as they steal softly out of the trees to cross the water makes us feel as though we’re on some kind of unique horse safari: try to count how many Percherons emerge from the woods to come drink and cool down as they pass in this magical moment as the sun slowly sinks:

These beauties are part of the herd at Blue Ribbon Days, breeders and producers of some of the best Percherons in the country. If the natural environment has any impact on a foal, we say it’s no wonder that BRD raises such fine animals — what a lovely, quiet herd moving together through its world.
