World Equestrian Brands Helmet Cam: Co. Clare Hunt
From swollen stream crossings to breakneck gallops across open fields to a very touch-and-go near-fall, this helmet cam view of the County Clare Hunt in Feakle is a true Irish hunting adventure!
It’s a well-known fact in the equestrian world all over the globe that no one fox hunts quite like the Irish: they let nothing stand in their way in pursuit of good craic, including massive or highly-tricky obstacles including hedges you can’t see over, stone walls, uneven terrain or muddy streams.
This helmet cam video of the County Clare Hunt in Feakle from January 15 is pretty much in line with the ideal day for an Irish hunt, including a very near fall around 5:25 — I love how the entire party cheers our rider back into the saddle and then cheers again when he’s fully recovered. Go team!
