T.I.P’s September Youth Ambassador: Chloe Bellerive
The Thoroughbred Incentive Program proudly celebrates its young horse owners who are dedicated to the off-track Thoroughbred. Meet September’s selected T.I.P. Youth Ambassador, Chloe Bellerive!
Chloe Bellerive (17, Maryland) has two Thoroughbreds: Grady and Cruz. Grady shows by the name of Dreamweaver and Cruz shows by the name He’s Mine. Chloe competes in Jumpers/Equitation with Grady, while she competes in Hunters with Cruz.
Chloe became interested in riding at a very young age. Her mother worked at a horse rescue and had a horse of her own. “I love riding any horse that I possibly can because they are all so different and I learn so much from each one of them” she explained. “Thoroughbreds specifically always seem to give you their all and I love that characteristic about them”.
Along with riding, in high school Chloe also participated in 4H, FFA, as well as skills USA. Chloe explained that one thing that is unique about her is her time management skills. “Somehow I’ve been able to balance between working, having high academics, as well as finding time for me and my wonderful Thoroughbreds” she told us.
Chloe recently began her freshman year at the University of Kentucky where she participates on the University of Kentucky Equestrian Team. Chloe is studying with the hopes to one day become an equine surgeon.
