Featuring 67 puppies, a kitty halftime show and piggy pep squad, Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl offered an adorable alternative to watch grown men pummel one another.

Nobody’s entirely sure who won the game.

According to Puppy Bowl referee Dan Schachner, “the rules are a little looser than your regular NFL game.”
