Mounted archery is perhaps a lost art — certainly no longer needed in wartime, the skill was relegated to become simply just a part of history. Fortunately, die-hard fans of this ancient tradition have kept the sport alive — not only through competition and horsemanship, but through bow-making as well.

Meet Lukas Novotny: he is not only a multi-champion mounted archer, but he also crafts bows by hand, keeping many old traditions and skills alive.
