‘Oh Crap’ Monday: Roping Fail
All things considered, this cowboy got pretty lucky. It could have been much worse.
Monday already is the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “oh crap” moment.
I’ve only ever done one roping clinic. It was fun, but it was hard. I fully admit that I cannot imagine being proficient at roping at speed from the back of a horse. Let alone when you actually have to catch a loose calf. And dodge trees. This all seems like a lot. I would like to say that if I ever attempted it, it would go a lot like this, but the reality is that it would be much, much worse. I sort of think this “oh crap” moment counts as a bit of save since everyone seems to come out okay in the end. Whew.
