So, in the case of this horse, Goose, stasis seems to be a repeated state, often brought on by large quantities of snow and, well, large quantities of poor decision making on the part of the horse. To be sure, this could end poorly, but it’s clear this isn’t the first time this has happened and that Goose’s mom is more than used to dealing with his antics.
Isn’t owning horses just one long adventure in which we try to keep our horses alive and they keep trying to find ways to achieve the opposite effect?
