In January of 2020, SmartPakers took a trip to Aiken, South Carolina to meet up with Team SmartPak Rider Boyd Martin and Tsetserleg, aka “Thomas.” The pair was coming off an incredible competition year in 2019 and is determined to carry on that momentum. While Thomas wasn’t everyone’s first choice when he arrived at Boyd’s to ride, the “little fuzzy pony” knew he had something to prove.

Horses with Heart is the second story in a new SmartPak video series, bringing you into the barns of unique horses — from therapy horses to the underdog turned Olympic hopeful — showing how they’ve made an impact on the lives of their riders, and why SmartPak continues supporting these horses and riders through their journey.
