Our horses all have their not-so-great days. Sometimes when you say, “jump,” they do not reply with, “how high.”

This horse is saying, “nope, nope, nope.” It doesn’t matter what color the jump is, what height it’s set at or what it’s made of, this horse is not going over. It doesn’t matter how many times he’s seen the jump during training sessions, he’s made up his mind that at that particular moment he is not going to exert the energy it takes to jump, and he’s decided he’s not going to get his feet wet either!
