How did you start riding?
My mom grew up riding, so I have grown up in a barn.
What is your favorite thing about riding/or your horse?
My favorite thing about Sporty is his personality! He is quirky and has taught me a lot.
What would you like to do when you are older?
I want to be a nurse.
Tell us your favorite quote and why:
“Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is to keep going when you really feel like giving up.” -unknown
This is my favorite quote because when things get hard it reminds me to be brave and to keep going. With a schedule this busy and having a competitive show schedule and keeping up with school, sometimes it seems easy to give up, but this quote really helps me remember that giving up isn’t the answer.
What do you think the most important aspects of horsemanship are?
It’s very difficult for me to pick out just one important aspect of horsemanship, but I would say taking care of your own horse and to build a bond with him/her.
