Okay, some context would be helpful, truthfully: these 146 donkeys are housed at Woods Farm, one of the many satellite farms part of the amazing Donkey Sanctuary based in Sidmouth, Devon, England. Each of the farms specializes in a different type of rescue: Woods Farm houses “bad breathers, laminitics, sarcoid treatment, middle-aged, miniatures, rehoming/donkey-assisted therapy potential” according to the Donkey Sanctuary website.
