Looking for a great gift for a wild horse lover for the holidays? Carol Walker, a wild horse photographer and Director of Field Documentation for Wild Horse Freedom Federation, is donating 50% of the proceeds from sales of her newest book and 2019 calendars back to WHFF to support the organization’s mission and works.
About Wild Horse Freedom Federation: A group of private citizens funding legal battles to protect America’s wild horses, WHFF notes that it is not a rescue, lobbying group or sanctuary — it simply funds attorneys to fight for wild horses in the court room, working to preserve the protections that wild horses currently enjoy and ensure that those protections are not taken away.
About Carol Walker, Wild Hoofbeats and the 2019 calendar: Carol Walker, the Director of Field Documentation for the WHFF, has most recently published a coffee table book titled Wild Hoofbeats: America’s Vanishing Wild Horses. Full of beautiful photography of wild horses in their natural habitat, the book also features a foreword by Ginger Kathrens of the Cloud Foundation. Accompanying the book is a 2019 calendar featuring more of Walker’s photography.
50% of the proceeds from sales of the book, the calendar or both bundled together will support WHFF’s mission and goals and continue to fight for America’s wild horses.
