Watch This: Self-Driving Mule

It turns out that the original self-driving technology has been here all along.

There’s been a lot of talk in the news recently about self-driving cars coming to our streets in just a matter of years (maybe), with the technology to keep us safer on the roadways and give us the ability to NEVER stop working or looking at our screens!

But as many a recent meme has pointed out, we’ve always had this self-driving technology… it could bring us home safe and sound in the dark when we had lost our way, it could avoid hazards in the roadway and if you gave it enough time, it could figure out all the hands-free commands you could shake a stick at.

I’m speaking, of course, of the horse:

Now THAT, my friends, is a well-broke working animal. No need to pull on the lines here — just a few vocal commands and this mule can get his wagon parked with minimal fuss. We’d like to see a self-driving car back up a trailer half as nicely.
