Still not sure what the Allen family did to raise a whole quiver of show jumpers, but they’re on to something over there.

By now, the world is familiar with Irish show jumping wunderkind Bertram Allen. Except nothing makes you look like less of a wonderboy than having a younger brother who can equally show up and show off: meet Harry Allen, Bertram’s little brother who is following right along in his bootsteps on the international show jumping scene.

Whatever Ma and Pa Allen did to raise a whole family of show jumpers… they did it right.  The Allen boys are both light, balanced riders with good hands and great instincts for the kind of snap decision-making that needs to be made in the jumping arena. Harry never looks flustered for a moment in this winning round, despite shaving off every possible split second and leaving everything standing in his wake.

Plus, his horse’s name is CHEESE. How can you not love that?
