KER Friday Video: Charlotte & ‘Mrs. Valegro’

(Because apparently they’re married.) Check out this performance by Charlotte Dujardin and her up-and-coming superstar mare Mount St. John Freestyle at Royal Windsor!

Hailed by various publications as “Mrs. Valegro” for her similar unflappability, natural talent and of course her partnership with Charlotte Dujardin, Mount St. John Freestyle is a mare to watch. Dujardin hopes to show her at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon this year, and if last night’s winning performance in the Al Shira’aa Grand Prix was any indicator, they’ll be a serious contender for a gold medal.

Watching Dujardin and this lovely mare dance across a beautiful springtime arena at Windsor Castle as the sun goes down, incidentally, has to be one of the loveliest ways to spend the next seven and a half minutes:

Comparisons to the great Valegro shouldn’t come lightly, but this talented mare certainly looks like she’s capable of stepping into those very big shoes. We’re excited to see what comes next for this pair!
