World Equestrian Brands Helmet Cam: Lainey Ashker’s Motivational XC

“You can do it! Yeah!” There’s no way you can watch this video and not summarily find yourself wanting to listen to it on repeat all day just for Lainey’s motivational cheering.

While we don’t want to put too much pressure on a horse’s first event, it is true that the first experience can set the tone for how a horse moves forward in his career. We’re pretty sure that Taylor Phoenix’s “G,” piloted by Lainey Ashker, is going to take a big step forward in confidence after this Beginner Novice cross country round at Morven Park last week.

This is largely in part due to his being in Lainey’s skilled and talented hands, but we’d also like to think it’s Lainey’s encouraging running commentary that contributes to his success. Because truly, who doesn’t feel better about even the tiniest obstacle in their life if you had Lainey cheering you on like this?

There. If that’s not the motivation we all need to go forth and tackle the middle of our week, we’re not sure what else is going to help at this point.
