This scene takes our breath away: winter days are short in across Scandinavia, but the light of dawn is starting to break through the trees over the ethereal scene of a party of sledges making their way across the snow. Torches light the way to guide the feet of the Fjord horses who walk steadily along the frozen road. One gets the feeling while watching this that one is privilege to something truly special, a rare moment when the present day and history meet at a crossroads.
