Fallon Taylor Nails a Grid & Diffuses Social Media Trolls In Just 1 Video
Yeah, that’s BARREL RACER Fallon Taylor.
Recognize this rider? If you’re having trouble placing this equestrian, swap the half chaps and gloves for glitter, fringe and tie-dye, and swap the hunter/jumper arena for a rodeo pen. That’s right — this is NFR champion barrel racer Fallon Taylor, putting in a little cross-training like a total boss.
Fallon’s been taking some jumping lessons on the side between training her highly-successful string of barrel horses from her home base in Texas, and we think she perfectly illustrates the equestrian truth: an athlete is an athlete, regardless of discipline.
????REALEST INSTA POST YOU’LL READ ALL DAY ????.I’m gonna big sister you for a minute! Have you wondered why I started jumping? Like really wondered ????????♀️.I’ll break it down. When you gain some level of success you often forget what it felt like to be a beginner. But not only is she rocking two TOTALLY different disciplines, she’s laying down some truth while she does so. How many of us have ever posted something on social media only to have a flood of gratuitous riding advice we never asked for in response — or worse, downright criticisms of our hands, legs, seat, horse, arena, riding outfit of the day and more?
Fallon has a message for the “armchair jockeys” of the internet — and it’s truly inspiring:
