‘Oh Crap’ Monday: Loose Horse Edition
Monday is already the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “oh crap” video.
Not everyone is a horse person, and when law enforcement is put in the unenviable position of having to round up loose animals that they know very little about, sometimes accidental hilarity ensues.
Because this story has a happy ending — the horse was eventually safely rounded up and returned to his or her family with no harm done to equine or property — we can smile over the way this police officer very politely tried to “pull over” this escapee.

“Come on! Can you stop? Please?” Police deputy in Florida finds a runaway horse and politely pleads with it to stop so they can reunite the majestic animal with its owners. http://abcn.ws/2GepV1n

Before the internet jumps down this officer’s throat about trying to pursue a flight animal with the lights going, let’s give him the benefit of the doubt — without the lights on to signify to other drivers that they need to use caution, this story could have had a very different ending. We salute this officer for doing everything he could in the situation he was given!
