Tuesday Video: Drill Team From the Skies

Watching a drill team from the stands is certainly exciting — but we’re pretty sure watching it from the sky might be our new favorite.

Say what you want about drones, but giving us mere mortals the opportunity to watch stuff from above like the birds would see it can be pretty freaking cool — case in point, this drill team performance.

From this vantage point, those intricate maneuvers performed by the Latigo and Lace Drill Team at the Long Beach Rodeo are incredible. Especially with a sped-up video, it’s pretty clear just how precise and consistent these riders have to be in order to pull off a perfect drill routine.
