Thursday Video: A Very Special Visitor

This horse and handler made a lot of folks’ day a little brighter when they stopped by a home for the elderly to visit with residents!

Horses hold incredible therapeutic power for humans, simply by being in their presence, whether it’s their majesty or charisma, the memories that come back to us of feeling that sense of freedom, their kindness or their personalities.

This therapy horse and handler certainly brought joy into Padstone Heights Home, a home for the elderly as part of Christadelphian Aged Care of Australia. Seeing the way the residents connect with the beautiful Appaloosa will bring a smile to your face (and possibly a little tear to your eye — you’ve been warned, grab a tissue).

This horse and handler are doing incredible work, and we wish them the happiest of holidays!
