A Merry Craigslist Christmas To You All

Have a holly, jolly, oh-golly-what-am-I-looking-at Craigslist Christmas…

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… for bad Craigslist ads. The internet never takes a break, so neither do we! Let’s just dive right in to the best the season has to offer:

Cornell graduate with 10 years of experience — this guy is probably a great farrier, but maybe just not so good in selecting good marketing photos. Hopefully Santa can bring him some longer shirts, or maybe someone to proof his ads for him! Submitted by Kaitlyn:

New to the area with over 10 years experience. Cornell graduate. Specializing in bare foot trims. Lame horse? Call me. I will work with the trims to get your horse back to sound again. Goats, sheep, etc? No problem! I look forward to meeting you and helping your hooved animals needs.

Dingle bobs, dingle bobs, dingle all the way… er, that should be “jingle bobs,” friend. Submitted by Maria:

Spurs with large rowels, used to have dingle bobs on them which I removed. Spurs are about 25 years old and in very good condition. $35

Probably not a bad filly and probably has a lot of potential… but the linked video is titled “Separation Anxiety.” We’ll also hope that they get some marketing tips for the holidays. From Kaitlyn:

Two year old Philly for Sale. She is green, but well tempered. She has had some ground work and has had a saddle on several times. She has not had a rider on her back yet. She will be 3 in April, 2018.

Price is firm, cash only at time of possession.

Would make a great project horse.

Here’s one strategy for selling a horse: put a well-conformed shirtless man who knows how to put a horse together on his back. A very merry Christmas to all of you, courtesy of Carleigh:

Readers, if you run across an “interesting” ad in your Internet wanderings, send it our way! Email the link to [email protected]. Who knows – maybe you’ll help connect a horse with a safe, loving home. Go Riding.
