SpectraVET Performance: All American Vintage
It was an All-American weekend: All American Vintage, piloted by Andrea Fappani, won the All-American Quarter Horse Congress Reining Futurity!
In the Quarter horse world, October means one thing: Congress. The world’s largest single-breed horse show, the All-American Quarter Horse Congress welcomes close to 6,000 horses every fall to Columbus, Ohio to compete in virtually every show discipline, from western horsemanship to team penning to pleasure driving to show jumping.
The Open Reining Futurity took place on Saturday night, and Andrea Fappani with Morris Howard Kulmer’s All American Vintage drew the unenviable position of going second in the order of go. It’s tough to start at the beginning, but when Fappani and “Vinny” laid down a 232.5, the bar was set high — and that standard held for the entire class.
The All-American Quarter Horse Congress continues throughout the month! Follow the action via the show’s website.
