Ladies’ Day at the Devon Horse Show Is So Fabulous
Check out the highlights via Instagram.
The Devon Horse Show at its core is a horse show, yes — but it’s also tradition, history, pageantry and formality embodied by the powder-blue walls of the Dixon Oval of Devon, Pennsylvania. Not only has the show historically welcomed the best equestrians in the country in not only hunters and jumpers but gaited breeds, ponies and driving, but it also attracts a social set from the Philadelphia area as well as raises funds for Bryn Mawr Hospital.
One of the most delightful Devon traditions is Ladies’ Day, which brings another touch of elegance to the old-fashioned country fair and the horse show scene. With hat contests, raffles, prizes and Devon-described “elegant libations,” participation in Ladies’ Day is a rite of passage. Here are our favorite images from the best-dressed and brightest from today’s festivities:
Those hats though.
