Monday is already the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. We’ve got the perfect cure for your Monday morning Rolex hangover.

“Oh Crap” Monday remains one of our most popular columns NOT because we enjoy laughing at the misfortune of others, but because we all know we’ve been there. We’ve all missed a distance, misjudged a landing, tripped, skipped lunging when we should have, forgotten our course, test or pattern or just plain done something stupid and had a major “oh crap” moment.

And today’s featured video is no different: eventing, after all, is one of those aspects of our equestrian world where everyone, spectators included, knows they’ve had a bad day. For solidarity’s sake, this particular individual is now a happy member of the Soggy Britches Club.

As Zara Tindall (who went on to finish third for the weekend) lands off the third fence in this video, keep an eye on the left of the frame…

Damp spectator, we salute you for your solidarity with the eventers who did take a tumble at the Head of the Lake, past and present. We’ve all been there.
