‘Oh Crap’ Monday
Monday is already the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “Oh Crap” video!
This is a would-be “Oh Crap” moment that turned into a brilliant save: driver Glen Douglas’ horse in a race on February 25 in Victoria, Australia got a bit rank and tried to break before either stumbling or locking wheels with another sulky. The horse went down, pitching Douglas… right onto the lap of driver Mick Bellman coming up alongside.
Somehow Bellman and Douglas managed to both scramble to a balance aboard Bellman’s sulky as they finished the race, both uninjured. Both horses are also reported to be fine!
Great work by both drivers turning this potential “oh crap” moment into “nice save!” Life is better when you have a buddy alongside.
