This clip from the Australian reality show ‘Married at First Sight’ sums up what it’s like to be in a relationship with a horse person in about 20 seconds.

Australian reality show Married at First Sight (there are Danish and American versions as well) takes couples who have never met before, places them in a commitment ceremony and then turns them loose on a honeymoon before they live together for a month. Couples can then choose whether or not they will stay together. Basically, it’s the usually bizarre reality show setup that’s like a train wreck — you just can’t look away, as horrible as it is.

That doesn’t mean that reality shows can’t occasionally have moments of great clairvoyance where they speak enough truth to blow your socks off. Take this little snippet, for example:

Nailed it! Sort of — yeah, maybe the horses do come first, but we know plenty of couples making it work with non-horsey individuals. Still, we get what you’re saying, Married at First Sight. We might have our priorities a little different than most.
