Standing Ovation by Ovation Riding: Purina & Clydes Team Up For ‘A Home For Every Horse’

Every Friday, Horse Nation teams up with Ovation Riding to recognize an individual or organization doing good work in the horse world. Today’s spotlight recognizes a whole host of deserving organizations!

This particular good deed took place prior to Christmas of 2016, but it’s no less relevant now to place four deserving organizations in the spotlight: A Home For Every Horse, Purina, the Budweiser Clydesdales and of course Far View Horse Rescue.

About Far View Horse Rescue: Based in Breckenridge and Fairplay, Colorado, this 501(c)(c) non-profit rescue which rehabilitates abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted horses. Far View adopts out its rescues when possible and also provides education, information and referral services to the equine community to help stop the problem of unwanted horses before it starts.

Alongside the rescue program, Far View hosts a summer youth program in which young riders can partner with a rescue horse for a nominal fee and become responsible (under supervision) for the care and training of that horse.
