Horses seem to possess a certain awareness — while certainly not every horse is destined to become a child’s first lesson pony, I’m sure we’ve all witnessed individual animals taking immense care around young children, the elderly or the disabled. Watching these interactions may trigger the realization that horses may know much more than we give them credit for.
