Photo Challenge: 13 Horses Getting the Perfect Scratch
No equine expression is more fun than “itchy face.”
Dogs will thump a hind leg, cats will rub their faces on you, and horses … they make “itchy face,” that sort of goofy blissed-out expression complete with the twitchy upper lip. There are few greater pleasures in the horse world than finding that spot that drives your horse nuts (in a good way) and giving them a good, solid scratch: here are 13 reader-submitted photos capturing that exact moment.
