#NationalEquineVetWeek: If Horses Were People

In honor of National Equine Veterinarian Week, let’s hold a mirror to ourselves and our horses and appreciate just what struggles we put our vets through!

September 18-25, 2016 marks the first annual National Equine Veterinarian Week! Our friends at SmartPak teamed up with Henry Schein Animal Health and the Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners (NEAEP) to produce this weeklong celebration in honor of our hardworking equine veterinarians.

Behind every good horse and rider duo is an equine vet who patiently answers our frantic questions, tolerates some less-than-kind behavior from our ailing horses and commiserates with us every hour of the day when we need them the most. That said, some of the things we put our vets through can be pretty hilarious, especially when we view them through the lens of SmartPak’s “If Horses Were People” video series.

Ah, yes, equine vet, about all that … seriously, what a patient group of people.
