World Equestrian Brands Helmet Cam: Mongol Derby
The thousand-kilometer Mongol Derby is running right now — in honor, take a look at this helmet cam video from just before the start of the 2014 race!
The Mongol Derby is called “The World’s Toughest Horse Race:” 40 contestants race over 1000 kilometers on horses donated by Mongolian nomads. Every 40 kilometers, the race stops at a camp of yurts where the riders switch out mounts. It’s a test of endurance, stamina and personal resolve.
