Twitter Tuesday
We understand that Twitter’s not for everyone — it takes a lot of careful control to adequately express yourself in just 140 characters. But when you’re able to pull it off, a well-written tweet is a work of art.
Our Twitter hashtag challenge from the past week was #ActualTrainerQuote, and we’d be lying if we said again that we were surprised at our readership’s creativity (as well as the totally off-the-wall things your trainers have said to you). Without further ado, here are our favorites from this past week:
@HORSE_NATION “Can you do that again so I can show them your butt?” #ActualTrainerQuote

@HORSE_NATION “The jaccoustics in here are terrible!” (She could never figure out how to say “accoustics.”) #ActualTrainerQuote
— Kristen Kovatch (@KristenKovatch) July 19, 2016
@HORSE_NATION “Are you humping his back?!” (was trying to move with the horse to get him to move out at canter=fail) #ActualTrainerQuote
— Emily Borders (@Berylroll05) July 20, 2016
STOP BEING SUCH A GERMAN! #ActualTrainerQuote
a) not German
b) wasn’t actually counting strides, just…terrified of jumping!— Xylotheca (@Xylotheca) July 20, 2016
Stop turning your head, you aren’t a showjumper #ActualTrainerQuote
(German dressage trainer this time)— Xylotheca (@Xylotheca) July 20, 2016
“I could drive a herd of pigs between your knee and that saddle.” #actualtrainerquote @HORSE_NATION

And now it’s time to set a brand-new Twitter challenge for the coming week: Horse Nation, it’s time to answer a burning question and share with us your #HorsePersonPickupLines. Whether you’re doling them out or receiving them, we’re pretty sure you’re going to have a great bunch to share with us.
Tweet to us at @horse_nation and go riding!
