Each Tuesday we round up the funniest, most random horse-related tweets on the internet, plus introduce our weekly hashtag. Let’s get tweeting!

Introducing Twitter Tuesday! While we’re no Jimmy Fallon, we do love a good hashtag and we know the creative minds of Horse Nation will have plenty to share.

The guidelines are simple: share your favorite stories in 140 characters or less and tag ’em with our weekly hashtag. This week, we want to hear about your misadventures out on the trail: tag your tweets with #TrailRideFail and we’ll round up our favorites for next week.

Even if you don’t have Twitter, there’s no reason not to love the eloquence of just 140 characters as a form of brief expression. Here are our favorite recent equestrian tweets:
