The final chapter: complete and abject intoxication.

The Preakness infield, at least prior to recent efforts to tame it down a bit, looks like the world’s best/worst massive frat party in one of the most unusual settings in the world. That’s a fancy way of saying that everyone is drunk out of their minds, all the time.
